Minister Counsellor Maciej Kozlowski is the deputy chief of mission at the Polish Embassy in Washington, DC, who was a prominent member of the democratic opposition to the communist party in Poland as a historian, author, columnist, translator and diplomat. Kozlowski begins by showing the significance of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Warsaw uprising to Russian-Polish relations. Minister Kozlowski then addresses the question of Polish security, specifically Poland?s desire to join NATO. In the question and answer session, Kozlowski talks about German-Polish relations and Poland?s aspirations to join the EU.
