Leszek Garlicki is a professor of law at the University of Warsaw, has been adviser to the Polish government during the democratic transition and has published numerous works on Polish law and government. Professor Garlicki presents his analysis of the Polish Interim Constitution of 1992, as well as giving a brief history of Poland and its executive branch. Garlicki gives his predictions for the future of Polish politics, including the influence of the Communist Party and the Catholic Church. In the question and answer session, Garlicki talks about Polish views of Walesa, the pessimism in the media and changing party configurations.When
