Paul M. Kennedy, a history professor from Yale, gives a forum on what the future is likely to be like. He discusses the increase in use of robots, the increase in use of biotechnology, the disproportionate number of jobs, and the population increase in developing societies and the population decrease in mature societies. He continues to discuss environmental, social, and demographic ramifications of the various changes. During the questioning session he addresses the effect of population growth on crime, Thomas Malthus?s predictions, NAFTA, and lowering of birthrates.
