Ron and Anne Walker give a lecture on Nixon?s first visit to China. Both recount their firsthand experiences on the trip where they worked on televising the trip. Much of their account is focused on their personal experience that had little to do with the president. During the questioning sessions the Walkers address security, negotiations, the Tiananmen Square incident, Chinese economic growth, and the UN?s role in the first meeting.
